ILLINOIS ALLIANCE OF CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PARTNERSHIPS
Early college opportunities for high school students
We formally recognize high performing dual credit instructors, staff, and programs across Illinois through our nomination process. Recipients are awarded at the annual ILACEP Summit and recognized across the state for dual credit best practices.
Are you a prospective dual credit instructor who needs further graduate education? Or need to provide instructors to become credentialed? ILACEP provides opportunities for graduate tuition assistance through our annual selective scholarship application process.
Whether you're new to dual credit or an experienced veteran, we offer a variety of platforms to learn about best practices in dual credit, including webinars, a listserv, materials repository, and annual summit. Our members come from high school, community college, and university backgrounds.
ILACEP by-laws were updated and voted on by the membership in May 2018.
Once again, we will be offering prospective dual credit instructors an opportunity to apply for graduate tuition scholarships. The application process is coming in November, 2019. ILACEP membership is required for application.
Looking for access to professional development opportunities? Our popular Dual Credit Professional Development Webinar Series offers 2-3 webinars a semester on various topics, ranging from Dual Credit for beginners, best practices, or dual credit legislative updates. Our 2018-19 webinar series begins on Wednesday, November 13 at 2 p.m. (cst). See webinar participation details below under "Upcoming Events."
New for 2018-19, we are no longer putting a limit on the number of individuals included in an Institutional Membership. Annual Institutional Memberships are $60 (include as many employees as you need!) and annual Individual Memberships remain $25.
Find our new board members on the Illinois section of the NACEP website:
Members will have access to current examples of Illinois dual credit programs' materials (ie, Dual Credit Handbooks, teacher credential applications, etc.)
Here you'll be able to access relevant dual credit research and data across the state, region, and nation.
You'll hear from ILACEP members and their experience with our organization.
